• Kool-Stop Dura-Ace/Ultegra Pads for Carbon Rims [BR2158] - $8

  I bought these carbon brake pads off QBP for $10.50 and found out I can't use them on my Bontrager carbon wheels or I void the warrenty. If you need a set, these are new in package and you can save a few bucks off QBP pricing. Just let me know.

• Sunday, Jan. 29th Ride - 10a - Rush!

  Any takers for a ride tomorrow?  I'm looking to get in about 3-3.5 hours to parts known but undecided.  Perhaps going to the flats east of Carter, or going out towards Ft. Lupton.... so, mostly flat, endurance-type ride.

   Team ride tomorrow, 10 am leaving from Rush..... who's in?

  I will be leaving from the Trek in Boulder store at ~9:20 and heading to Rush in time for a 10 am departure if anyone in the south side of the city wants to ride through town with me.

• Community Cycles Bike Giveaway needs help!!

  There is a great event happening in town that we would love GSB-ers to support- The Community Cycles Kids Holiday Bike Give-away on December 18. I have been contacted by their volunteer coordinator and they are in need of some help. They need volunteers to help tune and prep bikes before the event, set up for the event, transport bikes, and help out on the day of the event. If you have some mechanic skills they can really use help on Thursday evenings and Sundays from now until the event. They also have a need for people who can speak spanish. There are many opportunties to help out. You can see all the volunteer opportuntiies if you go to the volunteer sign up page link below. 

  And if helping kids get a bike is not reason enough to volunteer, GSB will award 2 volunteer points to any GSB-er who volunteers for a 4 hr shift or more. To get these volunteer points, you must also be wearing you new GSB t-shirt (if you don't have one, you can get it at the team meeting on Dec 1) and log them at "report my points" under the members tab on the forum.
